![]() ![]() The picture was taken on a Tripod with a Sony A68 with a Sigma 10-20 mm zoom at 10mm. When completed in 2000, it was the largest wooden ship to be built in the UK for over 100 years The ship was specially designed in the 1990s to accommodate anyone over 16 with a disability. ![]() The SV Tenacious is a modern British wooden sail training ship on a visit to the City. There is a pathway round the eastern and southern sides of this Dock which provides for some good photo viewpoints. ![]() At the eastern end of the Dock there is a bridge which raises to allow access from the Thames for larger ships. It is perhaps appropriate that there are still a few boats moored in what was the old docklands area before the skyscrapers took over. This was at South Dock adjoining the Canary Wharf Financial District in London. I do have though a lot of unprocessed images in the archives. It occurs to me that it could be quite a while before I visit London again what with crowded carriages for trains up to London and especially with crowded Underground train carriages. What did I do differently? Simple, I didn't put the latest images in any GroupsĪnother one from the archives, this time from a trip to London in March 2019. This is the 6th picture this year to gain Explore. ![]()
